11-Year-Old Bailey Brogan Saves Family from Car Crash

When his mother went into a seizure while driving, 11-year-old Bailey Brogan steered his family to safety.

When 11-year-old Bailey Brogan’s mother had a seizure while driving her car, he didn’t panic. He saw that the car was beginning to swerve into the other lane, coming dangerously close to another car. So, he simply grabbed the wheel and steering it until he found a place to stop.

“I was trying to stay in the lanes, then I thought to take the keys out of the ignition, [and it] slowed the car down,” he told My FOX Atlanta.

All in all, Bailey drove close to two miles, with his 3- and 5-year-old sisters crying and panicking in the backseat.

Thanks to Bailey, no one was injured during the frightening ordeal, and Bailey’s father, Nate, is amazed by his son’s heroic behavior.

“It’s a feeling of, this is my first born—my only son—and he just saved my family’s life. How can you repay that?” he said.
