America’s 25 Healthiest Cities
The American Fitness Index rounded up the fittest cities in the United States. Is yours on the list?
We always hear about how America is the heaviest nation on Earth. But the truth is, it’s not all corn dogs and Big Gulps: plenty of people here are focused on eating healthy and staying fit. So where can you find the largest congregation of fitness lovers in the United States? The American College of Sports Medicine rounded up the results based on both personal health and community and environmental data, and their findings in the American Fitness Index may come as a surprise: The Midwest, much-maligned for its county fairs, produced the winner, Minneapolis-St. Paul.
