As you may have noticed, our frequency has dropped off a bit lately… Having a two-year-old and lots of outside client work will do that, and we’re really sorry to have let the site slip to the back burner—we realize we haven’t been nearly as diligent in our “good news daily” mission as we’d like. We’ve been busy developing two new sites which are finally online: KathrynHawkins.com (my freelance writing site), and HawkinsMultimedia.com (our custom content and website development agency). Check them out, and feel free to get in touch if there’s something we can help with!
At any rate, we’re finally working on a redesign of Gimundo, and have already brought on a talented freelance writer, Jessica Kinnison, to help us out with additional content. You may have seen some of her stories over the last couple of weeks—we are lucky to have her on board. She’s helping us update content more frequently, and we’ve got some great new links on our Best of the Web section to share.
If you haven’t seen it, we also wanted to direct your attention to this heartwarming proposal story on our blog, written by my childhood best friend and her fiancée—have tissues nearby!
And, finally, we’ve created a new story on “Stuff We Like” about children’s books that teach generosity, and once we get up to 5,000 Facebook fans, we’ll celebrate by giving away a copy of each book. Check out the post for details!
