What would you do if presented a billboard of money? Would you give what you could?
A social experiment hit LA's Unioin Station last week. One simple billboard asked people to "Give What You Can, Take What You Need". With that and only a couple of pinned one dollar bills as prompts, passers-by soon knew just what to do. Most people gave ones, fives and ten dollar bills, one man even pinning a twenty after he found it on the ground (pay if forward, right?). A few people also took what they needed. Most only took a couple of dollars, leaving the rest for whoever else might pass by in need. That last dollar bill says the most, though.
